Coorg Hallimane offers eight rooms for stay - Four rooms each on the ground floor and top floor. The entire enclave is conceptualised incorporating principles of Vaastu Shastra, the age-old Indian science of architecture. Each room has separate entrances facing north, south, east and west to give you maximum privacy. The rooms are scientifically designed to suit Corporate Groups as well as Families.
Nature is the principal theme and culture the life force. The house, which is inspired by the traditional ‘Totti Mane’ concept, is constructed from natural laterite stone bricks. Unlike oven baked bricks, these are directly excavated from the earth, thereby retaining their natural composition comprising minerals like iron, aluminium, magnesium. The roofing is formed out of traditional clay tiles which are known for their ability to preserve humidity and provide natural cooling.
Unplastered walls and minimum use of metal and plastic help you to enjoy that out-of-town experience. Some rooms are furnished with only cane furniture, walls and flooring, while others are furnished with teak wood. There is also a separate Sit Out for you to relax. All bathrooms and toilets are hygienically maintained and kept totally clean.

Food – A treat that’s every bit worth it
Coorg Hallimane provides you with the opportunity to enjoy sumptuous traditional Coorg vegetarian and non vegetarian cuisine comprising dishes like Kodumbittu, Kayee Halu, Shevige, Akkirotti, Ragi Mudde, Huruli Saaru, Soppu Saaru, Green Gram Payasa, Carrot Badam Payasa, Home Made Pickle and Papad. Pure Cow Milk, Curds and Ghee and the famous Coorg Forest Honey are also some of the other tastes you can relish.
These apart, you might also want to taste the traditional Coorg wedding meal, which will be served to you for the asking!
You can spend the chill nights singing folksongs and film songs by the Bon Fire, which is lit up using waste wood, deadwood and twigs as per our eco-friendly practices. For those who enjoy dance, audio system too is provided.
